The Community Forest Trust works to support the development of Community Forests and other community forestry initiatives in England. The Community Forest Trust exists to provide project support and generate funding and raise awareness of the Forests, enabling them to continue their vital work, creating attractive environments in which businesses and local communities can thrive.
The aim of the Community Forest Trust is to support community forestry partnerships in the creation of high quality environments for millions of people by revitalising derelict land, providing new opportunities for leisure, recreation, and cultural activities, enhancing biodiversity, preparing for climate change and supporting education, healthy living and social and economic development. The Community Forest Trust is a registered Environmental Body with ENTRUST, which means that we are able to receive money from the Landfill Communities Fund. If you have a project that is in line with Community Forest Trust's activities, is eligible for Landfill Communities Fund support, and you would like Community Forest Trust to act as Environmental Body for your application please contact us.
